About Me

I am a recent MA English graduate from Shiv Nadar University, where I also worked as a teaching and research assistant. I prefer to go by Hari, and my pronouns are they/them.

My passion for writing started in middle school during a creative writing class when I wrote a piece I was particularly proud of. The more I wrote, the more I was allured by the world of literature. Therefore, when the moment came, I decided to pursue a degree in literature. I kept my passion for creative writing alive by being a part of the creative writing society of my college.

​

During this time, I also started to take up photography as a hobby and eventually became a member of the photography society. This is where I first encountered the concept of a photostory. Since then, I have independently worked on the two photostories on this website.

​

I have also worked to utilise my skills in my professional endeavours. I worked as an intern during my undergrad at Delhi University and then dedicated a year to gaining more experience in the professional sphere.

​

I decided to upskill my knowledge and skills by pursuing a postgraduate degree at Shiv Nadar University, undertaking courses in creative writing, study of photographic objects, cultural theory, along with courses in literature studies. During my five years of academics, I have held leadership positions as the President of the English Society at Hansraj College, DU and the co-editor of The Freewheeler, the annual literary journal of the English Department at SNU.

With experience spanning academic research, editorial leadership, and multi-channel content creation for diverse brands, I bring a unique blend of analytical depth and creative flair. Currently seeking opportunities in editorial, writing & content strategy, education & research, and communications & outreach.
